The following table gives you an overview about all data fields in our different Garmin Connect IQ™ applications. Please note that some of them require the PREMIUM version.

    Data Field          Header       Data Field Description
ALT  Current altitude in meters or feet depending on your watch unit settings for elevation
CR_MSPD  Maximum speed of current run in km/h or mi/h based on your watch unit settings for distance
DBG_1  Debug data field 1 which currently shows the free memory during runtime of the application
DIST  Total distance information (lift and run) in km or mi based on your watch unit settings for distance
DOWN  Total altitude decending during run phases in meters or feet depending on your watch unit settings for elevation

 Information is only precise enough on watches with barometric altimeter (altitude information cannot be derived precisely  from GPS as described here.)

ELAPS  Total elapsed session time (including IDLE, lift and run time) in the format hh:mm, h:mm:ss or mm:ss
HR  Current heart rate information in bpm
HR_ZONE

 Current heart rate zone in the range of 0.0 to 5.0 with following meaning:

  • 0.0 ... current heart rate below Zone 1  (minimum heart rate)
  • 1.0 - 1.9 ... current heart rate in Zone 1
  • 2.0 - 2.9 ... current heart rate in Zone 2
  • 3.0 - 3.9 ... current heart rate in Zone 3
  • 4.0 - 4.9 ... current heart rate in Zone 4
  • 5.0 ... current heart rate in Zone 5 (maximum heart rate)

 The value is derived from your heart rate user settings of the running profile

IDLE

 Idle session time where the speed is below 1 km/h or ~0,6mi/h in the format hh:mm, h:mm:ss or mm:ss

KCAL

 Kilo-calories consumption during the whole session

MAX_ALT  Maximum altitude in meters or feet depending on your watch unit settings for elevation
MIN_ALT  Minimum altitude in meters or feet depending on your watch unit settings for elevation
M_HR_%  Current heart rate in percentage of maximum heart taken from the user settings depending on the application you are using.  Please refer to HR_ZONE data field for further details.
PHASE  Shows current phase "UP" or "RUN"
RUNS  Total number of runs
R_AHR  Average heart rate in bpm during all runs
R_ASPD  Average speed of all runs in km/h or mi/h based on your watch unit settings for distance
R_AVSPD  Average vertical speed of all runs in meters/h or feet/h based on your watch unit settings for elevation
R_DIST  Total run distance in km or mi based on your watch unit settings for distance
R_TIME  Total run time in the format hh:mm, h:mm:ss or mm:ss
R_MHR  Maximum heart rate in bpm during all runs
R_MSPD  Maximum speed of all runs in km/h or mi/h based on your watch unit settings for distance
R_MVSPD  Maximum vertical speed of all runs in meters/h or feet/h based on your watch unit settings for elevation
SPEED  Current speed information in km/h or mi/h based on your watch unit settings for distance
TEMP  Current temperature in celsius or fahrenheit depending on your watch unit settings for temperature
TIME  Current time in 12/24h format based on your watch system settings
UP  Total altitude ascending during lift up phases in meters or feet depending on your watch system settings for the whole  session.

UP_DIST  Total up distance (e.g. when being in lift) in km or mi based on your watch unit settings for distance
UP_TIME  Total up time (e.g. when being in the lift) in the format hh:mm, h:mm:ss or mm:ss
VSPD 10s  Current vertical speed in meters/h or feet/h of the last 10 seconds when session is running depending on your watch  unit settings for elevation. A positive value means that you moved up, a negative value means that you moved down.
